How to use

Simply place the disk in the pot with the curved side facing upward. Then pour in the milk and begin boiling as usual.

As the milk approaches its boiling point (just before it starts to boil), the disk will begin to vibrate, producing a distinctive tun-tun-tun sound. This acts as an alarm to let you know that the milk is about to boil.

How it works?

Milk doesn’t boil all at once. It starts with tiny bubbles forming at the bottom. These bubbles rise but get trapped due to milk’s surface tension, gradually merging into larger ones. Once they reach a certain volume, they surge upward together, leading to a sudden boil-over which we all hate.

Our pot watcher disk catches these early-stage bubbles because of its parabolic shape. As pressure builds beneath it, the disk lifts slightly. Steam then escapes through its notch, causing the disk to drop and hit the pot — producing the tun sound. This cycle repeats rapidly, creating a rattling tun-tun-tun noise.

Additionally, the released large bubble breaks the surface tension of milk, allowing more bubbles to escape naturally. This delays the milk boil-over time, giving you extra time to turn off the heat.

And that’s how you avoid cleaning the stove another time.

Our disk is super easy to clean, and dissolves no hazardous chemicals like teflon or Chromium in to milk.
